"The Fairy Queen has sent you to do brave deeds in this world. That High City that you see is in another world. Before you climb the path to it and hang your shield on its wall, go down into the vally and fight the dragon that you were sent to fight." -Saint George and the Dragon

Being Honest
I don't know how to put this. Do you ever feel that your soul is old, not all the time just some of the time? That it has gone through so much, or seen so many things fade away? Some times I feel like a grayed haired women in the body of youth. But I know so many have gone through so much more then I ever have maybe more then I ever will.

December 6th has already gone by! O great sorrow!
I missed Saint Nicholas day!
The day every child looks forward to all year long. I'm sure you all remember Saint Nicholas Eve when you would polish your boots so they would be spotless, then you would place them by the fireplace or window, hoping that when Saint Nicholas pears though the window he would see your boots gleaming, and then he would know what a good child you were. You knew that the only thing to look forward to if you were bad were boots full of black coal. The next morning it is Saint Nicholas day! You remember it now, peaking out of your room trying to see what you have been hoping for. Yes it is there your shimmering boats are full of chocolate coins! At last doing the right thing has paid off.
Can you believe it that I forgot to stop and remember this day! Now I will have to wait another year before I once again have boots full of gold.
