I had thought better of you

Has anyone read the "Lady of Shalott" by Alfred Lord Tennyson? Due to the lack, no the complete absence of any comments what so ever, I am lead to think none of you have read it! How can this be? Do not let the size daunt you. All in all it is less then a page of writing. And (yes, I did just start a sentence with a conjunction; they do it in the Bible all the time) it has a great painting inspired by the poem. What more can I say?

I've read it several times, its in most every anthology of Lit. I own (which is like 7 or 8). I love it, I love Tennyson in general.

You are indeed right, it is a crime. And one that I, among others, am guilty of. Such a marvelous poem should indeed be given undivided attention.

I have, for my defense, read it before, but not for a long time. You're right though! It's worth the time and energy! As you know, that pic is our own Tuesday's Child's profile pic. Great minds think alike, eh?

I have indeed read it, (and sung it) with you my dear friend! Great memories. Now to memorize it...

I read it... I felt chastised... I am sad now. I mean that curly black haired boy moved her to her death! I find pretty boys distract me too. But I haven't died yet, thank goodness. Thought I thought I would a few times.
