Excitedly waiting,
counting down the days.
Already a favorite day,
now all the more special.
Part of me cautioning,
not wanting disappointment,
but what do I wish for?
home,
those who know me,
to be touched,
people I love,
for a calming hand on my head,
to be able to show I care,
for the smile to be seen.
