"The Fairy Queen has sent you to do brave deeds in this world. That High City that you see is in another world. Before you climb the path to it and hang your shield on its wall, go down into the vally and fight the dragon that you were sent to fight."

30 days has September, April, June, and November...
So what month do you like the most? Is it Novembers winter chill? Or the bright sun of June? Is it April and his showers or maybe May and her flowers?
I think I would have to say October, because the world is at it's brightest and most mysterious with leaves and storms and such. Or June; perfect days, all in bloom, early summer, ahh, the good life. I too want to know, what's your favorite Midsummer?
I am torn between, the sunny warm days of May with her still cool breeze and flowers in bloom, getting to be outside and soak in the sun, walking through the soft green grass , or November and walking under his bright leafs falling oh so lightly and gracefully in the crisp air.
Hello Midsummer! I would have to say October is my favorite month. Not because it's my personal favorite, but rather due to what usually happens in October.
Every October, when my children get out of school for fall break, it happens. This long awaited event is non other than the yearly fall get-a-way for Mr. S and myself. We guess for and plan for the exact weekend in October when the leaves changing color will be at their most beautiful. Without fail, this has always happened during fall break! We head to the mountains of East Tennessee in the JEEP for a great time in the Lord (Rolling Fork church), and for Mr.S to take a long awaited rest from his stressful, 16 hr./day job. We did not go last fall due to job demands, so I'm thinking maybe we'll go in the Spring. Now that the JEEP has been in a crash, we'll see.
Definitely April. Rain reminds me of the ever cleansing power of my Saviour. It's also a lot of fun to play in. It is almost always a picturesque moment in the rain.
I think September is probably my favorite month. It is usually still warm from being the end of summer, but it will rain sometimes, and I love a big, fat, warm, late-summer rainstorm. (After September and October, I begin to dislike the rain.)
There's probably something subconsciously carried over from my school days that associates September with starting something new. New is good.
At the moment, I like September/October, as the summer wanes, but doesn't loose it's grip completely. It's like a storm that has passed, but you can still smell it in the air. And storms always remind me that sunny days are coming, with May and June, the temperate and gentle months leading into summer.

I like November and April both, but I suppose I truly prefer November! It's just so lovely!
