As I was writing today this quote kept coming to my mind, so I thought I would post it.
To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it careful around with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. that's beautiful! thanks!! And crazy thing that there is this girl at school who I keep having incredible convesations with (God is working a lot there!!!) and she's been trying to figure out what love is...that's excellent! I'll have to take it to her. :-)
This goes along with some things I've been thinking about lately in reference to God's love.
