"The Fairy Queen has sent you to do brave deeds in this world. That High City that you see is in another world. Before you climb the path to it and hang your shield on its wall, go down into the vally and fight the dragon that you were sent to fight." -Saint George and the Dragon

Shattered
My brother has taken one of my dreams and trampled upon it. He just told me that the Library of Congress has a record of all the books published in the U.S. I thought it housed every book published. All these years I have been picturing a very tall, grand, old building full from floor to ceiling of books, like the library in Beauty and the Best. What is left to dream about? Where now will my thoughts drift off to?

I thought it housed only the books they thought were important. How lame. Are there any books in it at all? or is it just a computer system or a filing cabinet or something.
I thought there was something in New-York of epic proportions.
Ahem: http://www.loc.gov/about/
Which brother was this?
I have actually been there. You can't really go into the actual "library" part where all of the books are, you can only look at from behind glass, like a zoo. It is kind of lame but the architecture and art is incredibly beautiful and the walls and ceilings are so amazing to look at.
